This was a really fun project that allowed me to flex some science muscle to understand how and why certain signs help people find their way as opposed to others.

When the Resort was built, the notion was “signage should whisper and not detract from the atrium experience.” But then people found themselves lost and confused which left a bad taste in their mouth. A taste they still had when we asked them to rate their stay a week later.

It was time to do something.

Read the notes on each picture for a better understanding of the unique challenges this project faced.
