From managing the details to crafting the message, this Summit proved that internal programs can have just as much heart as external campaigns.
The Summit’s theme and design made space for celebration, connection, and meaning—all within brand.
For this 300-person internal conference, I served as co-meeting manager—overseeing end-to-end logistics including venue sourcing, housing, travel, transportation, budget tracking, reporting, vendor coordination, and full registrant management.
In addition to operations, I also led the development of the summit’s brand voice and visual identity. Inspired by one of our company’s core Our Heart At Work Behaviors™—“Rising to the Challenge”—the design centers around a white flag marked with a red heart, symbolizing accomplishment and purpose. After all, what do you do when you reach the summit? You plant a flag.
This concept allowed us to create a distinct, memorable brand for the event that was emotionally resonant, visually consistent, and fully aligned with enterprise brand guidelines. It’s a great example of how thoughtful design and strategic storytelling can elevate even internal programs.
